Ask and ye shall receive!

Ya’ll have been asking to see a little of Tempest Rising.

Ya’ll have been patient.

And now the wait is over.

You can find the first chapter of my debut novel, here.

Let me know if you want to buy the rest come November first. 🙂

  1. First! sorry, I've never done that before . . .

I read your first chapter, can't wait for more! Thanks for sharing . . .

  2. On one hand, thank you for posting the 1st chapter. On the other hand, aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh, I want to know what happened to Jason, does Linda get punched in the mouth, will the red nightgown ever see the dark of night?? Don't want to wait.

This was wonderful – a great and delicate dance between humor and sadness. Suppose I can wait til November, but dang…

  3. Can't wait to read the book… well, the whole series, really! Great job!!! 🙂

I'll be counting down with you 😛

  4. Thanks guys!!! You're the best!!!

I feel like I'm standing naked in front of an audience, to be perfectly frank. So thank you so much for the votes of confidence!

  5. You are a vile and evil temptress.

Jane's premier adventure has been on my 'must buy' list for a while. Now I have to wait God knows how long to get my paws on your book. Orbit had better make it available in Australia on the 1st November or heads will roll!

  6. All of the above is true, Gillian. 🙂

And I don't know about the Aussie release! I think it's only being released here Nov 1. . . bad, bad economic crisis. 🙁

  7. Sigh….I should know better than to read sneak preview chapters, but dang…I do not seem to possess any kind of self control….:-D

    Can't wait…but it seems that I must!

  8. Wow!!! I totally loved the first chapter. It completely sucks you in, and I can't wait to read more about Jane, her Mom, and the rest. Plus, any book that has a Xena reference and 2 fun lesbian characters automatically gets 4 stars from me. 🙂 Seriously, its a winning combination. I'll be running out to Borders on Nov.1 to grab my copy.

Plus, I saw the cover for Jane 2 on Sharon's website. It rocks!!! I love the colors, purple and blue are my 2 favorites and the deep and riches of both are great choices.
