Speaking as someone who is OLDER than you (!!), I understand all the rush of emotions — joy and anxiety — that come with buying a house. But I also remember when I became a homeowner and the tremendous relief of knowing that I'd made it to my own little corner of the world. There was something cool about sticking the word "mine" on it. And then I installed lots of bookshelves, and it was all good. Relax, enjoy, remember that it'll be yours for a long time to come and you don't have to do everything the first week. Congratulations!
