So many fun things have happened, I don’t know where to begin.

Yesterday saw the release of CARNIEPUNK! HUZZAH!

Look at this gorgeousness:

Sexy, right? And so much fun. It’s also been getting a lot of good press, including from USAToday.com, which named my story “The Inside Man” the best short story ever written, best as in “Move yo’ ass over, FLANNERY!” Okay, that didn’t happen, but they did give the story a special shout out and that made me VERY happy.

Today I’m flying off to Dallas to the arms of Jaye Wells, for tomorrow kicks off our wee Carinepunk related Texas Tour: CARNIES DO IT IN THE COTTON CANDY.

Mark blogs about the tour here, so you know what to expect. Sitz bath? Check. “Prison” tattoos? Check. Snark? Check, check, and double check. There will also be giveaways, filthy readings, and lots of obscene gestures, some of which will undoubtedly be leveled at us from our audience. Because you are our people!

In other news, you can see my face from 2011 popping up in this lovely video from the Popular Romance Project. I have red hair and I’m so chubby, it’s sort of adorable.
